Assistant Project Manager, Retail Division

Available Position:  Assistant Project Manager (Retail Division)

Position Overview: Our Retail Division currently has an opening for an Assistant Project Manager position in our Long Island office. This individual will be responsible for, assisting the Project Manager of Retail construction projects by managing material procurement and coordination of materials, scheduling project activities and developing and maintaining project budget. Will utilize CAD programs (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe, Bluebeam) to thoroughly document RFIs and field conditions, and will coordinate trades’ mobilization to develop site logistics plan utilizing Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. Will review, track and distribute RFIs, submittals and coordination drawings. Make adjustments to plans according to financial research and projections using knowledge of construction material/product pricing.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Two plus years experience required
  • Employer will accept Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering in lieu of this combination
  • Experience working on Retail/Commercial projects is a plus but not required
