E. W. Howell Completes Work at JFK Airport on New Avis Rental Center

Jamaica , NY -- E. W. Howell Co., Inc., one of the oldest and largest construction companies on Long Island , with a branch office in New York City is proud to announce that the firm recently completed acting as General Contractor for the new Avis Rental Center at the John F. Kennedy Airport .

The approximately 15,000SF ground up building was built in close proximity to the new air train. The location of the site is near the air cargo buildings just off of Federal Circle, one of the many entrances to the International Airport.

For a short period of time the world wide car rental agency was operating out of the existing building as temporary office space while the new building was being constructed. Once this new building was completed, the existing structure was demolished.

This new building is an extremely convenient location, just a brief walk from the airtrain to the ticket counter, and has an equally convenient pick up area. Canopies cover the walkways to the rental automobiles!
