E. W. Howell Promotes Johneas and Minondo to Project Executives


Michael Johneas

Michael's new duties include total responsibility for the Target , Lowe's and Costco accounts.

Michael joined E. W. Howell Co., Inc. over ten (10) years ago as an Assistant Project Manager on the first Wal-Mart Store built on Long Island .  From there Michael became a Project Manager for the Arrow Electronics project and has successfully completed Grumman Steam Plant, Sears, Hewlett Packard, and Underwriters Laboratories to name a few.  E. W. Howell assigned Michael to our first Target store, which was one of the retailer's first stores in the New York City metro area.  Due to his success, E. W. Howell has just completed our eighth Target store and are currently scheduling to start multiple projects in the region over the next two years.  Michael in addition completed Lowe's – Garden City, Costco – Westbury, and he will oversee the Lowe's – Brooklyn project as well as the Costco – East Hanover project to be completed in 2003.


Arsenio Minondo
(Mickey)

Mickey's new duties include total responsibility for The New York Botanical Garden Visitors Center, the Avis Rental Building at JFK Airport, and all future work at the JFK Airport Terminals.

Mickey came to E. W. Howell in June of 1998 after a 17-year run with Milnor Construction Corp.  Mickey started as Project Manager on the Pratt Institute's Stabile Hall project, which was a fast track dormitory building.  From there he moved on to the Friends Academy Kumar Wang Library, and then was located at JFK International Terminal Four to work on the Duty Free Shops which included a DKNY store, Mickey was also Project Manager at the IAT Offices at the airport.  Due to his stellar performance on the Kumar Wang Library; Mickey's project team and E. W. Howell were asked back to handle the major renovation of the Gideon Frost Hall, at Friends Academy.  Mickey is currently working on The New York Botanical Garden Visitor Center, along with the Avis Rental Building at JFK Airport .
