Health Sciences Multi-Purpose Building

E.W. Howell Co., Inc. built a new 200,000+ sf Multi-Purpose Health Technology Building at the Western Campus of Suffolk County Community College (SCCC).

The building provides space for SCCC’s health technology programs, physical education facilities and the Suffolk County Police Academy.

The Criminal Justice houses the new Suffolk County Police Academy, including eight classrooms and specialized facilities for firearms simulation training, in-service training and physical education.

The athletic wing includes a 60,000 sf field house with retractable seating for 2,500 spectators, a 25-meter indoor swimming pool, indoor 400-meter all-weather track, eight tennis courts, and new fields for soccer, baseball and softball.
