E.W. HOWELL COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF HUDSON GARDEN GRILL AT NYBG

Opened in April 2015, Hudson Garden Grill, presented by Stephen STARR Events is now open at The New York Botanical Garden. With construction by E.W. Howell, the restaurant features New American cuisine as inspired by locally-sourced, ethically-produced ingredients from Hudson Valley farms and other regional producers. It serves as the Garden’s first full-service establishment and offers beautiful views of the Garden with plenty of outdoor seating. According to NYBG, “The space is defined by accents of steel and oxidized copper that contrast with the whitewashed, rough-sawn red oak paneling reclaimed from Garden trees felled by Hurricane Sandy.” With architecture by Bentel & Bentel the space features low banquet seating, an expansive walnut-topped bar, and an open kitchen designed for exhibition cooking.
