LEED COORDINATOR

Available Position: Leed Coordinator

Position Location: Plainview, NY

Position Overview: Review architectural designs and building plans provided by Project Manager to ensure compliance with energy and environmental design standards of USGBC. Make recommendations to Project Manager on modification to plans to conform to LEED action plan. Monitor sustainability indicators such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation and recycling. Work with electricians/plumbers to ensure energy consumption efficiency and control; enhance building closure to minimize heat loss. Collect information about waste stream management other green building practices to inform the project manager.

Qualification Requirements:

  • BS in Architecture or Landscape Architecture required.
