Kaufman Astoria Studios is New York’s premier film and television production complex and is the home of PBS’s Sesame Street, as well as numerous independent films and smaller projects.

Stage K
In March 2010, E.W. Howell completed construction of Stage K, a new production studio located at 37th Street in Astoria, NY. The new building’s total area is approximately 40,000 SF and consists of an 18,000 SF production studio with an estimated 22,000 SF for office space. Stage K includes dressing rooms, green rooms, wardrobe and makeup rooms, and production offices.

Cat Walk / Guard Booth
In 2013, E.W. Howell constructed a new guard booth and catwalk at the main entrance of Kaufman Astoria Studios. The project also included new fences and gates.
