EW Howell Construction Group was chosen by Music Choice, the leading cable music channel service, to provide General Construction services for their new offices at 17 Penn Plaza in New York City.
Music Choice Studio
Size: 25,000 SF
With 25,000 square feet of second floor space, this project consisted of new construction to provide a general office area, two studios, studio support spaces, technical spaces, bathrooms, and mechanical electrical areas for their facility. Music Choice utilized ground floor space as their main entrance lobby with an ornamental stair into the second-floor reception area.
Playback Facility
Size: 18,000 SF
This 18,000-square-foot interior fit-out included a control room, management office, and the playback facility room. The project also involved extensive UPS systems and emergency generator work to insure uninterruptable power supply for the playback facility.
