The majority of our work is obtained through competitive lump sum G.C. bidding in both the public and private sectors. As one of the largest commercial builders on Long Island, EW Howell enjoys a loyal following of qualified subcontractors across many trades that enables us to develop highly competitive, qualified bids.
Over the past several years, EW Howell has significantly increased the number of projects in which we act as Construction Manager, the majority of those projects being C.M. “at risk” including UCP of Suffolk, Lowe’s, Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, Rubie Corporate Plaza, and Kaufman Astoria Studios.
